SAE J3027

In July 2015, SAE International® (formerly known as Society of Automotive Engineers) released new industry standards to improve safety and crashworthiness. Those changes affected nearly every part of the ambulance, including the SAE J3027 J3027 Recommended Practice for Ambulance Litter Integrity, Retention and Patient Restraint testing.

Government and private members of the automotive testing community performed independent analyses of the testing methodology and of the resulting data.

Now, as an EMS equipment manufacturer, Stryker must develop and provide solutions that meet or exceed this new standard for current and future SAE-compliant states.
